Woke up every morning to breathtaking beach views and impeccable service. The cocktail selection was top-notch, and the poolside atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming.

However, the app was buggy, and we found the housekeeping could have been a bit more thorough during our stay. Our minibar didn’t meet expectations for a five-star venue.

Having experienced exquisite dining with superb service, the convenience of this resort made it incredibly easy to explore nearby attractions like Dolphin Discovery Playa del Carmen Maroma just a little less than a kilometer away and Punta Maroma only a short walk further. the evenings were delightful with entertainment options that made every night special.

We loved the variety of on-site activities, especially the yoga sessions and the breathtaking ocean views from our room. The beach was perfect, offering a tranquil escape. The attentive staff made our romantic getaway memorable, especially Daniel from the Mexican restaurant.

In my wife’s opinion, the addition of more pet-friendly options would enhance the experience.

the check-in process took longer than expected (very frustrating! ). the preferred club lounge had a great bar with amazing drinks and the theme dinners were delicious (especially the seafood night! the beach staff was very attentive, always providing refreshing drinks.

Secrets Maroma Beach is simply stunning. The Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View King offered breathtaking views every morning. The beach is pristine, perfect for long walks. I loved lounging by the pool with its vibrant atmosphere. Service staff, especially my concierge Mariana, went above and beyond to make my stay unforgettable. The spa treatments were luxurious. the couples' massage felt heavenly. However, I faced issues with dining. Some restaurants had long waits, up to 45 minutes, which was frustrating. While the food was generally good, some meals lacked consistency in quality. The coffee in the morning was disappointing, not at all what I expected from a resort of this caliber. Despite these hiccups, I would gladly revisit for the ambiance and staff's exceptional service.
